Bitter Sweet Celebrations

What better way to celebrate Scouter Cynthia’s birthday then by taking the whole 1st Elgin BPSA Scouting group to Park and Bowl for a night of glow bowling.   Sadly however this day also marks Kierran’s last day with the group as he has to return to England and rejoin up with his BPSA group their.  …

Cooking Challenge

The non-blindfolded explorer could give instructions, but not touch any of the gear or other patrol members.  And 14 minutes later, a tent was set up!

Along with …

What a fantastic way to spend a fall night. The 1st Elgin BPSA Scouting group (Otters, Timber Wolves, Explorers & Sr. Explorers) spent the evening at Dan Pattersons Conservation Area.  The hike sent them finding geocaches, each cache with a Scouting theme or challenge(Knott tying, Compass Barrings, even singing).  When the hike was over, we …

Ice Cream and New Friends

What a better way then having 4 new youth (Otters and Timber Wolves) and a new Leader(Welcome Jim a.k.a Chil) join our group, then making home made ice cream together.  What a fantastic night!
